In addition to our permanent facilities that accept household hazardous waste, the Salt Lake County Household Hazardous Waste Program offers on-day household hazardous waste collection events. The collection days are as follows below.

Community Collection (June - August 2010)

Events run from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

  •  2nd Thursday of the month Sandy, Public Works 8775 South 700 West

  • 3rd Thursday of the month Holladay, 4626 South 2300 East

  • 4th Thursday of the month Salt Lake City, Sugarhouse Park Big Field Pavilion 1300 East - 1700 East 2100 South
    June 24, July 22, August 26 (Prescription Drugs will be accepted only at the Salt Lake City event.)
